Time Out Melbourne

Want to reminisce over your misspent youth? This is the community page for you!

Isn’t Facebook a wonderful thing sometimes? Not only does it let you catch up with old friends, keep tabs on old lovers and stalk potential new ones, it can keep you connected with what’s happening today, tomorrow, and dredge up memories of times gone past.

That’s the idea behind a new Facebook page, Lost Gay Melbourne. It’s been set up to celebrate and remember the venues, events and people of years gone by. Melbourne’s gay scene is constantly changing, and the gay hub that was Commercial Road in Prahran is not thriving as much as it once did.

For a trip down memory lane, it’s worth taking a look at many of the pictures posted on this page – and if you have some yourself, post away! Also check out Gay Melbourne Reunited, and Found Gay Cities, if you want to see what’s happening in Gay Melbourne now.
