Time Out Melbourne

This event has finished

Not-for-profit organisation Kids’ Own Publishing has just published its 100th book, and has some celebrating to do. As they enter their next phase of releasing stories by and for children of diverse communities and backgrounds, the group will display each one of its 100 titles at the brand new Library at the Dock. Not only will kids discover the new title, Donkeys Can’t Fly on Planes – which tells the stories of 25 South Sudanese refugee children – they will also get to participate in book-making workshops (Sat Jun 14 & Sat Jun 21) and try their hand at e-publishing on the library’s iPads.
