Time Out Melbourne

This event has finished

The time of the dinosaurs may be over, but your love of the king-size reptiles is eternal. These school holidays, the lizards are back, in all their roaring, stomping, spine-tingling glory. Back in the animatronic flesh, these life-size moving dinosaurs will be more real than ever before – minus the terror. When you and the little ones have had your fill of the Triassic period, put on your paleontologist hats and take part in a dinosaur dig. Kids can learn about fossils and get involved in sand art, fossil displays and dinosaur rides. It was the number one attraction at this year's Sydney Royal Easter Show, and it's bound to be a highlight of the holidays.

The exhibition is open every day, but buying tickets in advance is recommended. Check the website closer to the date as some days cater to school groups only.
