A cooking school where budding chefs can learn and grow
When ex restaurateur Carrol Thurley had kids she realised how important it is to teach them how to enjoy and prepare healthy food. Now and her crew at Spudz have opened up a purpose-built kitchen for kids of all ages to learn how to make food using fresh and mostly home-grown ingredients.
Kids can drop in for casual classes or sign up for the whole seven week term to learn not only how to cook but how to plant seeds and grow food at home. Classes are run by qualified chefs who all have kids themselves and they promise, you don’t have to eat it if you don’t like it but make sure you give everything a try.
