Get close to the everyday objects, treasures and trinkets of Victoria's past

Encounter Eureka Rebellion pistols, wine bottles from savage shipwrecks and burial boxes from Ned Kelly’s Pentridge Prison grave in an immersive journey through Victoria’s history. For the first time, artefacts from the state’s oldest archaeological sites will be on display, revealing the battles, hardships and achievements that have shaped our story. For an even deeper look into the past, catch the free public floor talks held throughout the exhibition from curator Dr Andrew Jamieson and other experts.
