A collection of ancient Persian manuscripts about lurrrve
A sucker for romance? This one’s for you. Direct from the Bodleian Library's vaults at the University of Oxford, one of Europe’s oldest libraries, comes Love and Devotion: From Persia and Beyond. It’s a stunning collection of illustrated books and leaves from as long ago as the 13th century now on display at our State Library of Victoria. We caught up with Susan Scollay to learn more about these manuscripts of love.
