Time Out Melbourne

A biblical blockbuster exhibition

This exhibition is set to explore how the world's number one selling book, the Hebrew Bible, has been depicted in film. Biblical tales of brutality, war, slavery and exile have all inspired filmmakers: David and Goliath (1959), The Sins of Jezebel (1953), The Ten Commandments (1923 & 1956), The Private Lives of Adam and Eve (1960), David and Bathsheba (1951)... So here's a collection of vintage movie posters, movie stills, annotated scripts, press books and other paraphernalia from the collection of Father Michael Morris.
