Time Out Melbourne

This event has finished

Beloved westside institution Footscray Community Arts Centre is getting nostalgic on its 40th birthday by bringing back the popular Music Hive concert series – that began in the 80s and was last seen about a decade ago – with its former music coordinator Duncan Foster to curate the jamboree.

Music Hive has an ethos firmly rooted in community spirit and multicultural exchange. This final instalment of the series will feature Duncan Foster himself with a backing of vocalists and musicians hailing from cultural backgrounds as diverse as Vietnam, India, El Salvador and Indonesia. No Passport Required is an explosion of heritage, language and music diversity, which is aptly emblematic of the Music Hive philosophy.
