Escape to the French countryside, cunningly disguised as Werribee

The annual gathering of lovers, musicians, families, and friends hits town again next January. It’s the ultimate picnic with a playlist to match. This year's line-up includes Hindi Zahra, the Moroccan purveyor of sweet, bluesy folk with a gypsy backbeat. She's often likened to Billie Holliday, which makes sense – she's got a voice from yesteryear and her songs are often offset by an old record crackle (she's also done a killer version of 'The Man I Love', which probably nailed the comparison).

Brigitte, the misleadinlgy named disco-diva duo, join the fray, with electro-sexy retro-pop.

Lou Doillon is a shoe in after pulling the pin on SFSC two years ago owing to ill health. The model-turned-actress-turned-singer demonstrates that the career swap can be a classy

with live performances by Emilie Simon, La Femme, Francois and Atlas Mountains and French/Finnish duo The Dø. BYO blanket and get comfy with a gourmet hamper or picnic box filled with all of our favourite French eats; tart tartin, terrines, baguettes and tortes. If you haven’t had enough, wander the food stalls for oysters, crêpes, macaroons, ice cream, champagne, wine and more.
