Rock out with your poppy out this ANZAC Day at the Evelyn
If waking up for the Dawn Service is not your cup of morning tea, head to the Evelyn at a more civilised hour for an ANZAC Day celebration like no other. Your lieutenants for the afternoon will be HMAS Vendetta with their operatic rock epic entitled ‘The Anzac Spirit – Australians in the Great War’.
Promising visuals, costumes and theatrics, the band will be armed to the teeth with enough electric violins, organs, cellos pianos, semi-operatic vocals, drums and rock-heavy guitar riffs to ring out from here to Gallipoli.
