Aloe Blacc headlines a concert where rules will get broken
It’s not often you see turntables and orchestras on the same stage, but violinist and composer Tamil Rogeon from True Live is about to change all that.
As director of the groundbreaking Red Bull Beat Suite at the Melbourne Recital Centre, Rogeon will throw the Australian Youth Orchestra into the mix with a line-up of some of the country’s best hip hop and electronic music artists. On the line-up will be Ladi6, DJ Perplex, Amin Payne, Scratch 22, Galapagoose and an extra special guest vocalist, Aloe Blacc.
Joining the creative fray will be Melbourne’s ENESS studios, projecting artwork onto the stage with 3D mapping technology.
Whether it’s classical, hip hop, electronic or visual art that brings you there you might walk away with a very different view of all that's captured by a musical journey you won't soon forget.
