New Zealand's roots-reggae band, Katchafire, are rolling into Melbourne as part of their Irie Australian tour. Katchafire will hit the stage at the Forum in Melbourne after headlining this year's Cairns Reggaetown Festival.
The eight-piece collective started out as a Bob Marley cover band (where they derived their name, Katchafire, from Marley and the Wailer's album Catch A Fire). Now, their own brand of righteous reggae has earned them a nomination for Best International Band at the British Reggae Music Awards. Insipred by their 2010 album On the Road Again, Katchafire will be touring Australia through August and September. Catch them at their one night only Melbourne show.
