Best known for her pop/soul career, Jade MacRae's actually always led a surprising double-life, from guesting on gritty hip-hop records to collaborating with members of the Sleepy Jackson and Pnau. Now she's struck out with her own, entirely independent project that's a world apart from anything you've known her do before.

Following her first single 'Shoestring', Dune is heading to the Toff with her latest, 'Black Sand', now available as a free download on Sound Cloud. Here you'll discover a post-apocalyptic terrain of vintage synth sounds, tribal rhythms and Jade's vocal ability to tap into a raw emotion. We love it.
