STOP PRESS: TICKETS ARE NOW SOLD OUT
If you snooze, you lose buddy. That's right! Falls Festival Lorne tickets have sold out in 50 minutes flat! Its sister festival in Marion Bay, Tasmania are currently on sale, but best be quick! You don't want to be left behind spending New Year's by yourself while your mates are having a splendidly rapturous time across the Bass Strait enjoying the sun, sand and sea - with the best lineup of live music ever!
Expanding from 70 acts in 2011 to 80 artists this year (yeah, we know, how'd they do that?), it's going to be the best Falls Festival yet. That is, if you can manage to survive four days of nonstop camping, listening to bands, and, so we hear, a bit of drinking.
The lineup so far (in alphabetical order) includes: Ball Park Music, Beach House, Willis Earl Beal, Best Coast, Bombay Bicycle Club, Boy & Bear, Coolio, Matt Corby, Django Django, First Aid Kit, the Flaming Lips, Hilltop Hoods, the Hives, Hot Chip, Cosmo Jarvis, Jinja Safari, Maxïmo Park, Millions, Lisa Mitchell, Sampology: Falls Anniversary Live AV Show (a mashing of the Festival’s audio-visual history over the years), SBTRTK, Angus Stone, Totally Enormous Extinct Dinosaurs, Two Door Cinema Club, the Vaccines and Sharon Van Etten.
