You'd expect a genteel, philosophical sort of solo album from an Edmund White-reading, perambulating, tango-dancing, board-treading sort of chap. And with Rogers Sings Rogerstein, that's indeed the case...
To celebrate the release of his new album, Tim Rogers is back with a performance at the Regal Ballroom in Northcote. Rogers' new show, 'Rogers Sings Rogerstein', and album of the same title, is full of songs that are co-written by his extremely mysterious and as-yet-unsighted collaborator Shel Rogerstein. These new songs chronicle Rogers' and Rogerstein's travels through Europe together (where they met, romantically, on a train) and are sure to be wrapped up in pathos and tied up with a bow of sheer wit. Joining Rogers on the night will be alternative country and roots singer/ songwriter Catherine Britt.
