Missed out on tickets to SITG? Or just can’t be bothered to battle the 18 hour drive up to Byron Bay? What ever your reason may be for missing the festival, you can still get a slice of the SITG action sans tent pegs, gumboots and over-priced beer.
Suze DeMarchi, Noah Taylor, Michael Gudinski and Amphlett's team of doctors are among the thousands who would like to see a Melbourne tribute to the late Divinyls singer.
Beneath painted trees and sculptural art installations, Rainbow Serpent brings together a motley crew of dreadlocked, barefoot, enthusiastic music lovers. Over 10,000 of them, in fact. The artists performing over the four-day frenzy come from all over the globe and include Tripswitch, Shift, Stereo Talk, The Commercial Hippies, Transwave, Peter Van Hoesen, Oliver Koletzki, Ruls & Navarro and Quanta. Expect good vibes and creative energy.
Rainbow will be held near Lexton in Western Victoria. Directions will be published on the Rainbow Serpent website nearer the date. Buses will run from Melbourne.
