Time Out Melbourne

This event has finished

There's no point putting yourself through a long haul flight to Australia just for one festival, so Major Lazer will play a sideshow for his Melbournian fans too fluro-phobic to atttend Stereosonic. Major Lazer was previously a partnership between Switch and Diplo before they parted ways in 2011. The project is now ruled by Diplo with his trademark moombahton - a fusion genre of reggae, dubstep and dancehall. Supports include electronic club kid Dillon Francis and melodic dubstep trio Krewella.
