Big spiked hair! Raucous punk anthems!

This event has finished

Punk-rock fans in need of a good shout-along rejoice! Two of the bands most able to get this crackin' are doing some Soundwave 2013 sideshows together. Sum 41, after taking a bit of a detour down the poppier roads punk can offer came back last year with Screaming Bloody Murder, a record that saw their music return to the rage that once filled their souls. (This will no doubt be turned up a notch with recent news of singer Deryck Whibley's ex-wife Avril Lavigne's engagement to everybody's favourite punching bag Chad Kroeger from Nickelback.)

Billy Talent, the band with the hardest to pronounce last names, will co-headline in support of their latest release Dead Silence and will surely whip the crowd into a frenzy with their upbeat live show mixed with equal parts aggression and fun.
