Supporting Tame Impala’s national and North American tours ain’t a bad way to lead into releasing a debut LP. Throw in WAMI nominations, a spot at the Big Day Out in 2012 and mentions in NME’s list of Australian acts to watch this year, and you know that there’s something exciting going on with six-piece Perth band. In April, the Growl, their grimy guitars, gravelly vocals and reverie-inducing rhythms in tow, will be launching into their own national headline tour, What Would Christ Do??, in support of their debut album of the same name.
What Would Christ Do?? will be available in stores and online from April 5th. Tickets for The Growl's gig at The Worker's Club will be available at the door.
