Time Out Melbourne

This event has finished

Since 2005 the Melbourne Jazz Fringe Festival has commemorated the best of innovative jazz in Melbourne’s ever-growing musical subculture. This year, winner of the 9th APRA Composers Commission, Darrin Archer, is performing alongside Sam Zerna, Danny Fischer and Gideon Brazil, among others. Get taken back to the time of the Beat Generation with a live reading of Allen Ginsberg’s epochal poem ‘Howl’ by Maxine Beneba Clarke, and click your fingers to the sounds of Melbourne’s jazz scene.
