Continuo Collective will explore the role of early plucked instruments and the journey of the guitar in Spanish Art music from the 16th to the 19th centuries. The performance will feature pieces from famous composers such as convicted felon and ex-priest, José Marín (1618-1699), Juan Hidalgo, as well as instrumental works by Francisco Guerau and Antonio de Santa Cruz.
