The Melbourne Symphony Orchestra are bringing a taste of Russia to the Melbourne Town Hall through the sounds of Tchaikovsky and Rachmaninov.

Rachmaninov's Piano Concerto No.3, which featured in Australian film Shine, will bring together Paul Fitzsimon and Clemens Leske; two of Australia's top classical artists.

A suite from Tchaikovsky's critically acclaimed ballet, Swan Lake, will be performed alongside his orchestral adaptation of Shakespeare's Romeo and Juliet.
