Australian classical music’s largest high school reunion

In October 2013 more than a hundred of Australia’s top classical musicians from local and international orchestras will descend on the Hamer Hall in Melbourne to delight audiences with arrangements of Stravinsky’s The Rite of Spring and Mahler’s 1st Symphony, lead by acclaimed maestro Zubin Mehta.

The Australian World Orchestra is the vision of Artistic Director Alexander Briger, and had its inaugural performance in 2011.
