Vika Bull, one of the country’s most accomplished and respected singers is gearing up to pay tribute to and tell the story of the widely influential soul singer Etta James. The narrative, written by acclaimed UK author John Livings, will explore the ups and downs of the life of one of the most respected and prolific singers of the 20th century, one year on from her death. Backed by an eight piece band, Vika Bull will command the stage, displaying her impressive range and vocal power that has seen her perform with The Black Sorrows, Paul Kelly and John Farnham to name a few.
