Our totally not-made-up track listing for the upcoming One Direction album
One Direction has just announced the cover, title and release date of their much-anticipated second album, Take Me Home – out November 9, pre-order available September 3. The tracklist hasn’t been released as yet, but thanks to an unnamed source deep in the One Direction camp, Time Out have received this exclusive information:
“It’s a much darker album,” we’re told. “The band felt that the perky, upbeat pop of the debut didn’t accurately reflect where they were as artists and they’ve really taken creative control this time around. While first single ‘Live While We’re Young’ is a throwback to the One Direction of old, the rest of Take Me Home is, as the title suggests, an exploration of the sorts of issues that affect young men as they leave the giddy thrills of adolescence behind and look to the future: specifically, as new homeowners.”
