Time Out Melbourne

This event has finished

What do you do when life hands you lemons? Take them down to the Queen Victoria markets on Sunday the 9th of March for the Festival of the Sea. With free cooking demonstrations as well as specialty food stalls set up for sampling some of the finest seafood Australia, you’ll be shucking like a pro by the end. There will also be an oyster eating competition for those partial to the slimy, bivalve molluscs, as well a special kid's corner with tanks of live sea creatures to entertain the little ones.
