The Bluebonnet BBQ crew have finished their monthly residence at the Beaufort – their skills with smoke and ribs are no longer required now that Ike's Rack Shack is in full swing up at the nautical dive bar. But it's OK, because you can still get your hands on their porter-smoked beef cheeks, Texan-style hot guts, and chopped brisket on a miso bun with apple and kohlrabi slaw over at Grub Food Van. For ten days, they'll be taking over the Airsteam caravan out in Grub's garden (right behind the Labour in Vain off Brunswick Street.) As if that’s not enough, they’re adding spiced rum to the mix, shaking up some Sailor Jerry cocktails. If you don't do food with faces and fear the wheat, there are gluten-free and vegetarian options available. They’ll be serving up every night except Monday June 2.
