Time Out Melbourne

This event has finished

Is there a better way to celebrate Mexico day (Cinco de Mayo);than with $5 Coronas and Margaritas? Short answer, no! Acland St Cantina is throwing a five day Mexican Fiesta in honour of Cinco de Mayo, the traditional holiday of Mexican pride. Chefs Daniel Hawkins and Paul Wilson are cooking up a Barbacoa feast, which will cost $25 for lunch and $55 for dinner.

If street food is more your style, grab a drink and sample some Mexican morsels at five bucks a pop. And for all you tequila lovers out there you can buy a bottle from the pop up bottle shop, where there will also be tastings of mezcal. After all of this, put on your dancing shoes for the live mariarchi bands and Latin DJs.

Call ahead to book a table.
