In September each year Galway comes alive for the International Oyster and Seafood Festival. In a nod to the world's longest running oyster festival, the Last Jar will be hosting the Australian version in May. Top local chefs will be vying for the Oyster Opening title, competing to be the quickest shucker, while the rest of us down two-dollar oysters and six-dollar Guinness pints.
