Give a fork for sustainable seafood

Sustainable Table are trying to get people to give a fork about the state of our oceans and current fishing practices by hosting a dinner party using sustainable seafood, or heading to the participating restaurants putting envrionmentally friendly fish on the menu.

Morris Jones Food Society is doing a four-course sustainable seafood tasting menu by on Tuesday October 8 for $70 per person and Lamaro’s is doing a three-course sustainable seafood course with matched wines on Saturday October 12 for $150 per person. Failing that you can head to Half Moon, Proud Mary, Robert Burns Hotel, Longrain, Bimbo Deluxe, Lucky Coq, Botanical, Union Dining, or the Good Table in Castlemaine to try out their special sustainable menu items for the occasion.
