Time Out Melbourne

Yeehaa! The new coffee craze is rolling into your 'hood on a sweet set of wheels

Chris “the bull” Taranto founded Bluebird Coffee. Sean “Taco Brothers” Sweeten used to operate a snack van out of the Tote. Together, they know to hell out of their coffee and work as Genovese’s men on the ground, selling beans. But as with most guys working in the fluid coffee industry these boys have got their fingers in more than one pie.

Geared up with a full artillery of bean intelligencia, a horse float, a vintage F100 truck and a license to operate all of the above, the pair are about to unleash Melbourne’s next food truck onto the streets. And by food, we mean coffee, which if you live in Melbourne, you know ranks higher on the food pyramid than bread. They’re striking out on their own with this project and will be offering a range of blends and single origins under the name Cowboy Coffee.

Cowboy Coffee doesn’t have a website set up yet, but keep an eye out for them in Fitzroy, Collingwood and Brunswick. They’ll be moseying on down to festivals and farmers’ markets too. Giddy Up!
