We love this ornate theatre, where they screen unabridged versions of Hamlet, sing-along sessions of the Sound of Music and sci-fi double features. Almost as much as we love the free popcorn, braised beef cheeks and Earl Grey Martinis they serve at Kid Boston. Best date night ever. St Kilda.
This Art Deco, weird-movie-screening cinema is just a hop from Two by Two where you can grab quick plates of delicate gnocchi with fennel or do a full deg. On Wednesdays they serve two courses with wine for $40. Sunday through Tuesday, hit Joe's Shoe Store for beers and pizza fromPizza Meine Liebe next door. Northcote.
The just-behind-the-Jam-Factory precinct is one of the hottest places to eat in Melbourne right now. Hit good time Aussie dive bar theSweetwater Inn for a tinnie, a fresh juice cocktail or some vegan prawns or grab a goat tagine and Moroccan pastries at B’Stilla. South Yarra.
