This place is a straight up coffee haus from Mark Knapp and Nick Edgar, who learned their strokes from stints at Tusk in Prahran, and Il Fornaio in St Kilda. Not surprising then that the espresso, and cold drips and filtered coffees are wont to ruffle the feathers on Port Melburnians.
The menu isn't quite as out there as at Il Fornaio, but your eggs come marching out in fine form with all usual suspects of hollandaise, smoked salmon and sourdough, with a little fresh bircher muesli on the side.
