Time Out Melbourne

Instructor Adam Wojcinski guides his students through the ancient Japanese ‘chanoyu’, or tea ceremony, founded by a 17th-century Samurai warlord/tea master (somehow, that isn’t contradictory in Japan). The class also encompasses learning about Japanese flowers, poetry, incense, and the art of Zen living. You can attend as a one-off, or continue each week until you, too, become a tea master.
