Time Out Melbourne

First Rumi, then the Moor’s Head, and now the Moor’s Head Elsternwick. Joseph Abboud is on a serious mission to spread the food of his homeland like a Lebanese cuisine disciple. And his food is worth a bit of worship, to be fair. The new southside venture is serving up his incredible Lebanese dips, Turkish-Lebanese pizze, and a whole lot of pulse-packed salads for lunch and dinner.

As of August 2014, they've added in a new brunch menu, available daily from 8.30am – 3pm. The menu basically covers all your breakfast and brunch favourites, but with a Middle Eastern twist. Try the smashed avo on toast with saucy tahini and Moor’s Head dukkah or, for something sweeter, there's crumpets with ricotta, date syrup and pistachio halva.
