Time Out Melbourne

If you like to know that at least someone is benefiting every time you order a cheese jaffle, take yourself to this new little venture in the CBD. In a similar vein to the great operations run by STREAT, this project, run by YSAS (Youth Support + Advocacy Service) provides support and opportunity for young people recovering from substance misuse, giving them real-world work experience and helping build up their confidence while they recover.

They’ve got breakfast until 10.30am, and we’re looking at the sweet breakfast bruschetta with banana, mascarpone and candied walnuts. Warm up at lunch time with the Boston baked beans and a cheese jaffle. Take your eats with a side of social consciousness.
