Time Out Melbourne

Delve into Inuit culture and grab some native food at Amarok

According to ancient folklore, the mythical creature the Amarok hunts down and devours its lonely prey. It’s not hard to make like an Amarok and devour some of Head Chef Carey Stephens’ unique dishes at this addition to Southgate's restaurant precinct, especially since Stephens has 30 years of experience under his belt. This Inuit-inspired eat out is fashioned with native North American inspired décor, traditional art, and stone fireplace.
