The Press Club is back with a vengeance (and a smaller dining room)

The Press Club liveth. A number of fine dining restaurateurs, including George Calombaris, turned their hand to more casual joints this past year, but Calombaris hasn't given up on refined food just yet. Months ago, he closed Press Club and Little Press and turned the larger portion into casual Greek diner and boozery, Gazi. Now, he's completed the two-stage switcheroo, and re-opened the fine diner in the smaller space next door along with a test kitchen which you can book out for little groups who are OK with an experimental menu. They're only open on weekdays for lunch and dinner and while you've got the choice to go a la carte by day, it's degustation only at night. If you're looking for somewhere hot and new and fancy enough to schmooze your clients this Christmas, this is it. Get bookin'.
