Time Out Melbourne

Thread Den's new market is a wonderland of indie fashion, cute crafts, live music and creative surprises

Earlier this year, sewing loungers Thread Den said goodbye to their North Melbourne Market, and moved on to a new southside venture.

They're upping the market game, big-time. Located in South Yarra's Jam Factory, the first instalment of the Mystery Market saw indie designers and vintage sellers showcasing men's and women's fashion as well as interactive craft stations and live musicians.

This time, you can expect a whole lot of contemporary fashion and accessories from designers Jude Ng, M'agapi, Miss Lilly White, Love of Three Oranges and Collective Tee – as well as vintage threads from Frizzy Vintage. And it wouldn't be a Thread Den market without something a bit out of the ordinary: don't miss the unsettling (yet awesome) doll head candles by You, Me and Bones.
