The Shirt & Skirt Market is coming back to the Abbotsford Convent on the third Sunday of every month. The market has been showcasing emerging independent designers for eight years, providing a great opportunity for designers to put themselves out there and get their creations seen. Plus visitors get a chance to snap up some one-of-a-kind bargains.

Over 40 artisans will display their beautiful handmade clothes, accessories and one off items in the popular grounds of the Abbotsford Convent. There are also a range of eateries at the Convent such as vegetarian hub Lentil As Anything, for when shoppers need a break from meandering.

Highly sought after vintage knits by My Bonnie Knitwear is just one popular designer who’s 100% pure merino wool garments have collected a big fan following. Melbourne artist Shonah is also appearing at the markets, exhibiting her inventive wearable art pieces. Shonah uses Tasmanian wood, fabric, paper, paint, copper and resin, a must see for any creative’s looking for inspiration!

So kick your hangover or your bad cold with a stroll to Abbotsford, and make the most out of your Sunday afternoon.
