Time Out Melbourne

This event has finished

This relative newbie to Melbourne's market scene has the commendable aim of supporting local artists, so it's a welcome guest at the party. Held in a car park behind Sydney Road - and adjacent to the Sporting Club, giving the thirsty market-goer easy access to beer - the Charles Street Market's focus is on handmade arts and crafts. It features live painting and roving entertainment, and tries to be interactive by running workshops on essential life skills like T-shirt-making, juggling, screen-printing and jewellery-making.
