Camberwell Market is the big daddy of secondhand markets – and, with more than half of the 370 stalls used by casual stallholders, the probability is high that someone’s Great Aunt Maude has finally cleared out her closet of never-worn goodies from the 1950s, ready for you to snap up and strut out in. Here you will find pre-loved clothes, accessories, furniture, bric-a-brac and collectibles – the operative word here being ‘pre-loved’. The only new goods permitted for sale must be home-made. There’s more treasure than trash, and bargains galore to be had.
