Thread Den is saying farewell to the Lithuanian Club in style

Since 2007 the marvellously chandeliered Lithuanian Club has been home to Thread Den’s North Melbourne Market. Sadly, this Sunday will be its final hoorah (don't worry, the market isn't over – just moving). Over the years the market has grown from running biannually to monthly. It has nurtured local fashion and accessory labels, while staggering under the weight of vintage clothing, vintage fabrics, cakes and cute stuff for kids. This weekend’s event will be no different, celebrating the project’s success with the biggest lineup of stall holders yet, including Elk Diamond Artwork, Little Urban Farmers Hanging Gardens, Neon Pear Prints & Homewares, A Mad Tea Party Cup Cakes, Unique Sneakers Handcraft Footwear and many more. Each stall holder is governed by criteria that guarantees everything on offer is designed locally, handmade, vintage or fairtrade.
