Vinyl lovers will want to make a point of getting to one of or more of Melbourne's many awesome records stores this Saturday. Spinning across the city for the fifth year, Record Store Day will see boutiques, shops and music stores offering discounts, throwing parties and hosting live performances to celebrate all things EP and LP related.
Basements Discs will be presenting live performances from Suzannah Espie and Ian Collard, Eagle and the Worm, Lisa Miller, Shane O'Mara, the Mercurials, Charles Jenkins and more.
Eastland Shopping Centre's main stage will host a performance from Record Store Day Ambassador Russel Morris at 11am.
Quality Records has Deborah Conway performing live and will be digging out rarities from the depths of their stock room.
Dixons Recycled across Melbourne are offering 20 per cent of all stock on the day, and if you spend more than $75 you get a free canvas tote.
Leading Edge Music will be offering big discounts on CDs and vinyl and will be hosting a party with artists, promos, competitions, treasure hunts, family fun and more.
