What are your customers' most common requests?
Vicki About 20 percent of our clients request nail art and right now it’s all about colour blocking. Clients mainly want to be assured that salons carry a great range of quality colours. It’s all about Shellac now.

What do you offer that other salons don't?
Ours is a one-stop shop for beauty. Designer fit out, central location and all about beauty with an affordable services menu. Being in the heart of the bridal precinct, our floor plan is set up for group bookings so we get constant bookings for pre weddings, hens and even baby showers – it’s all open plan and fun. We don’t complicate things and are all about the client. Our very loyal clientele love us for the quality of our services and equally for our dedication to them. To date, I’m still shocked by some of the horror stories of attitude and poor service in our sector. If you’re not in it for the client, then don’t choose beauty as your career path.

What do you, as a nail artist, enjoy doing yourself?
Anything which involves making someone feel better about them selves and honestly, the aesthetic part of that is 70 percent – the remainder is what you offer as an experience.
