The latest in the local made crafts and art, vintage ware and retro homewares pop-up shop to open in Melbourne
Next door to Little Markov, on the leafy Drummond Street, Carlton, Crafty Co. is that perfect browsing shop to find that elusive gift for the person that has it all.
Tracey Marsich, owner, opened this store to give Melburnians one-off thoughtful gifts and to also support the local craft industry.
Some of the talented crafty peeps you will find at Crafty Co include Eleanor Laud of Kick and Screen fame, whose industrial screen print designs can be found on pillow cases, tote bags and tea towels for sale.
Narelle Watson from Ol’Beady displays her range of beaded ceramic jewelry and can make to order; recycled paper products for the writer in all of us are on offer by Cheryl Henry from Love Bird; Juniper Design’s Jennifer Castle has her range of one-off Japanese silk bags and wallets for the exotic in all of us and for the kids at heart, Sonya Hough from Small Things has her butterfly mobiles for sale.
And just in time for spring racing, milliner Wendy Brown of Feathers and Bows has a fine selection of unique fascinators and hats.
Tracey is still open to hearing from crafty and arty nuts who want to get involved. Call her on 0430 946 603.
