Time Out Melbourne

This store is as unpretentious as the vintage threads you’ll find inside; and the great staff will help you locate the gem you’re looking for. Featuring handpicked vintage pieces for women and men from Australia, Europe and North America, you'll find clothes, shoes and accessories from the 1950s up to the 1990s, with a brilliant selection of dresses from the '60s and '70s, and Marlon Brando-style leather jackets. Any men pursuing a Marlboro Man image are well catered for, and ladies, if you like your tops sparkly and your pants tight, then watch out, disco queen, coz you’re going down to Devil Gate Drive.

"At Sheila we believe that vintage can be worn traditionally, or with a contemporary piece to create a unique look," says store owner Andrew Terranova. "It's about falling in love again with pre-loved treasures."

Their recently opened sister store, Yesteryear Retro Clothing in Preston, is dedicated to keeping it real on pricing. Selling vintage clothing and accessories, as well as retro bric-a-brac and furniture.
