A run for mums and the fight against breast cancer
Literally running for over 14 years, the Mother’s Day Classic is one of the biggest charity events in Australia. Register to run or walk 4km or 8km around Alexandra Gardens and the Tan or put your hand up to volunteer and help out on the day. All funds raised go to the National Breast Cancer Foundation, a not-for-profit organisation supporting research into breast cancer prevention and treatment for the one in nine women diagnosed with breast cancer. Either form an informidable mum-and-daughter running team, or go it alone and give your participation certificate to mum to pin up on the fridge afterwards.
