Andreas Litras and his family odyssey return to the Antipodes

This event has finished

Odysseus might have battled a six-headed monster but could he have coped with migrating half-way across the world to Australia?

Andreas Litras returns with his one-man show entwining Homer’s epic poem of the ancient Greek hero Odysseus with the tale of his own life and his family history. Playing every character, Litras adapts the classic ancient Greek tale to the quiet, domestic heroism of a migrant family’s struggle to fit in and make do.

Odyssey has played to critical acclaim in Malaysia, Singapore, New Zealand, the US, Canada and London’s Barbican International Theatre Experience Festival and returns to Australia for Melbourne’s Antipodes Festival.
