Time Out Melbourne

This event has finished

Composer Marvin Hamlisch and lyricist Carole Bayer Sager put their real-life odd-couple relationship up in lights - with a little help from playwright Neil Simon -- in this feel-good musical from 1979.

Two of Australia’s finest music theatre performers and real-life couple Danielle Barnes (The Boy from Oz, Priscilla, Queen of the Desert) and Scott Irwin (Hairspray, Les Miserables) star as the unlikely lovers Sonia and Vernon.
